2010 Collection

The 2010 Collection is here! They are selling them all on: www.shopjusttherightshoe.com
I don't know how she does it but these are even better than last year!

She has every shoe fantasy covered -- all meticulously crafted with exquisite detail. You will find sexy stilettos, clever little jewelry boxes, vibrant wedges and chunky sandals all painstakingly adorned with tiny metal chains, delicate leather straps and glittery jewel embellishments. Each mini shoe comes packaged in its own little shoe box with a Vail watercolor interpretation on the outside. They also come with their own "Certificate of Authenticity" to verify your purchase as being a genuine Just the Right Shoe sculpture by Lorraine. She has outdone herself again this year. Here are a couple of my favorites so far.

Killer Curves

Curvaceous

Go get one for yourself, your sister, your mom.....anyone who appreciates a good pair of shoes will be sure to love this as a gift.

An ode to the Garden Party

I was in a funk today. I don't really know why. I think it could be the fact that we got 12 inches of snow and another foot is on the way. (Isn't it supposed to start warming up yet?!) I couldn't seem to keep my mind from drifting to thoughts of warmer days so I decided to do a little online shopping. I immediately went to shopjusttherightshoe.com because I just really love her sculptures. I actually now consider myself a collector, I have 6 currently and I just bought one more. The one I got is called Garden Party. Here is the link: http://shopjusttherightshoe.com/Garden-Party-Just-the-Right-ShoeThis little piece of art is simply adorable. It immediately made me think about the cute little Garden Parties that I threw last summer. The warm summer nights and the heavenly smells from the grill.......they almost seemed to waft into my office cubicle! I have always enjoyed gardening, and I have a little patio where flowers weave in and out in my back yard. Softly lit candles and white linens over the picnic table set the atmosphere and quiet conversation with good friends always made the nights memorable. I can't wait spring so I can get dirty in the garden again!

Anyways, the thoughts of warmth and sunshine transcended me to a happier place today. Retail therapy (and blogging) always helps me when I'm in a funk!

For the girl who has everything

Here is the link to this shoe

The detail on these little things are quite amazing. I'm giving this one to my sister and mom who recently came to visit me. We had an amazing time while they were here, it was just so great to catch up and bond with them. The best day in my opinion was when we ventured out to the ocean. I will never forget it because it was simply perfect...the sun, the water, the ships and of course the fruity drinks. I think that the ocean blue color in this shoe will reflect the feeling of that day and when I go back to see them on Christmas I hope we can relive it for a moment. These little shoes are my favorite gifts to send. The shipping is cheap because they are so light and it really is a creative and unique gift for the girl that has everything. I have never been disappointed. Each time I open one up, its hard for me to put it down. Lorraine Vail is a very talented artist and you can tell that she has a passion for what she does. I looked up her name in google the other day and saw that she wins many awards. A lot of her shoes actually go up in price because they make such great collectibles.

Got another one

http://shopjusttherightshoe.com/Easy-Rider-Just-the-Right-Shoe/M/B002868GLO.htm

I went out and got another one. I didn't want to get another one for myself because I don't want to be greedy, so I got it for my friend, Becky. She is the epitome of the 'girl who has everything'. She manages an Express store and is forced to buy all of the newest fashions every season, every year. I know, tough job, right? Her closet is crazy! We went back home for a visit and we stopped by their house. I didn't pack enough clothes, so I asked if I could borrow some things from her. Of course she said yes, and about an hour later, I emerged from her closet disheveled and disorientated. It was like a time warp, there was so much stuff to look at, I couldn't chose! She had shoes up to the ceiling and they were the hottest trends. I was so jealous. I knew that if were going to get her a present it had to be amazing! That's what brought me back to the website http://shopjusttherightshoe.com/Easy-Rider-Just-the-Right-Shoe/M/B002868GLO.htm My package came yesterday with this little blue shoe and I absolutely fell in love with it! The detail is amazing; deep blues with an animal print and that little intricate chain is so adorable. It’s going to be hard for me to give it to her! lol I hope she doesn't read this blog!

Halloween (Devil) Mini-Shoe

I stumbled across this webpage http://www.shopjusttherightshoe.com where they sell these adorable mini-shoes. They are just about the cutest things! I bought this little devil shoe because I just kinda wanted to check it out and see if they were really as detailed as they look on the website and, well, in real life.....they are even better. It was heavier than I thought and the colors are so rich. Its so cute! I have this one on my desk at work as one of my Halloween decorations and EVERYONE stops by to ask where I got it. I'm definitaly going to go back to the site and buy a couple for my friends. I know a couple girls that have a rediculous amount of shoes. Almost to the point of being obsessive! lol
