2010 Collection

The 2010 Collection is here! They are selling them all on: www.shopjusttherightshoe.com
I don't know how she does it but these are even better than last year!

She has every shoe fantasy covered -- all meticulously crafted with exquisite detail. You will find sexy stilettos, clever little jewelry boxes, vibrant wedges and chunky sandals all painstakingly adorned with tiny metal chains, delicate leather straps and glittery jewel embellishments. Each mini shoe comes packaged in its own little shoe box with a Vail watercolor interpretation on the outside. They also come with their own "Certificate of Authenticity" to verify your purchase as being a genuine Just the Right Shoe sculpture by Lorraine. She has outdone herself again this year. Here are a couple of my favorites so far.

Killer Curves

Curvaceous

Go get one for yourself, your sister, your mom.....anyone who appreciates a good pair of shoes will be sure to love this as a gift.

An ode to the Garden Party

I was in a funk today. I don't really know why. I think it could be the fact that we got 12 inches of snow and another foot is on the way. (Isn't it supposed to start warming up yet?!) I couldn't seem to keep my mind from drifting to thoughts of warmer days so I decided to do a little online shopping. I immediately went to shopjusttherightshoe.com because I just really love her sculptures. I actually now consider myself a collector, I have 6 currently and I just bought one more. The one I got is called Garden Party. Here is the link: http://shopjusttherightshoe.com/Garden-Party-Just-the-Right-ShoeThis little piece of art is simply adorable. It immediately made me think about the cute little Garden Parties that I threw last summer. The warm summer nights and the heavenly smells from the grill.......they almost seemed to waft into my office cubicle! I have always enjoyed gardening, and I have a little patio where flowers weave in and out in my back yard. Softly lit candles and white linens over the picnic table set the atmosphere and quiet conversation with good friends always made the nights memorable. I can't wait spring so I can get dirty in the garden again!

Anyways, the thoughts of warmth and sunshine transcended me to a happier place today. Retail therapy (and blogging) always helps me when I'm in a funk!
